Plantworks Nursery was founded in 1978, by Douglas Chapman in his backyard in North Carolina. They offer a wide range of annuals, combos, daylilies, ferns, groundcovers, herbs, hosta, ornamental grasses, perennials, succulents, tropicals, and vinces.

Plantworks is celebrating over 43 years of Green Industry participation. They are located in beautiful Rougemont, NC with a 40-acre farm, 5.5 acres of greenhouses, and a total of 172 greenhouses. Dana Massey transitioned into ownership in July 2017 from the Head Annual Grower position where she began in 2009.

Plantworks is exclusively a wholesale supplier of herbaceous plants to the industry.   Plantworks is growing neonicotinoid free. They supply finished products to the IGC and landscape market as well as liner material to other nurseries and re-wholesalers.
